My journey, much like yours, began in the throws of constant conquests. Emerging from the college sport to navigate the demanding landscape of the corporate world, I became obsessed with achievement, stuffing my emotions under a thick layer of “gotta-keep-going.” My days were a rigid schedule self-inflicted pressure, leaving no room for vulnerability or connection. Then came burnout (more than one), a harsh but necessary wake-up call.

Exhausted, emotionally numb, and totally disconnected from myself, I knew something had to change. The lessons learned extended beyond discipline, leadership, and hard work. However, beneath the surface, there existed a deeper layer—an emotional masking, a shield against vulnerability.

Before embarking on this transformative journey of deep connection with my roots, I grappled with sleepless nights and constant anxiety, the silent struggles of a warrior who pushed herself relentlessly. The transformative practices of Yin Yoga, Breathwork, and Meditation unraveled these layers, and through these practices, reshaped my stress responses response, built resilience, and opened me up to a deeper connection to myself and others.

There was an undeniable power, confidence, and purpose that arose. 

My own transformation has been profound. Shedding the emotional masks, I emerged from a place of being emotionally shut off to one of authentic expression. Gone are the sleepless nights and constant anxiety. Today, I’m more present, connected, and radiating from a place of inner power.
